THE WOOL: Softness and warmth

An exceptional natural material, wool is prized for its thermoregulatory properties. It is a living and delicate fiber that requires special care.

  • THE WASHING

    • Air rather than wash: Wool is self-cleaning. A good few hours of fresh air is often enough to refresh your item.
    • Hand wash only: If washing is necessary, use cold water. Do not let your item soak for too long to prevent it from stretching.
    • Absolute softness: Use a special wool detergent. Do not use fabric softener, which can felt the fiber.
    • Thermal stability: Ensure that the wash and rinse water are at the same temperature to avoid thermal shock (the anti-shrinkage secret!).
  • THE DRYING

    • Lay flat only: To maintain its original shape, lay your item on a towel in the open air.
    • Protective shade: Avoid direct sunlight, which could alter the colors and weaken the fibers.
    • Forbidden: The tumble dryer is wool's number one enemy.

Never put wool sweaters in the tumble dryer.

  • TASK PROCESSING

    • If your wool item has a stain, it is necessary to clean it immediately, otherwise the stain may become embedded in the fibers.
    • We then advise you to use a stain remover specialized for wool and adapted to the nature of the stain. This should only be applied to the stain.

Caution: do not pour hot water on a greasy stain.

  • THE IRONING

    • To restore loft to the knit, prioritize steam.
    • Always iron on the reverse side, with a very gentle iron, without ever pressing or pulling on the material. The ideal? Use a damp cloth (a damp cloth placed between the iron and the garment).
  • THE STORAGE

Here are some tips to ensure the longevity of your garment:

    • Do not place your sweater loosely in a wardrobe/cupboard/shelf.
    • Do not hang your garment on a hanger, as this could deform the material and stretch it.
    • Store your sweater folded in a dry and airy place, away from sunlight.

  • LES BOULOCHES

Pilling is a natural phenomenon on noble materials.

    • The sure way: Use a fabric comb. Proceed gently, always in the direction of the fiber, without ever pulling by hand.
  • THE MOTH PROTECTION

    • Cedar: An excellent natural repellent. Remember to lightly rub your cedar balls with sandpaper every year to reactivate their scent.
    • Cleanliness: Always store your clean garments at the end of the season, as moths are attracted to perfume or perspiration residues.

COTTON & VISCOSE: Freshness and fluidity

Cotton, a breathable plant fiber, and viscose, derived from wood pulp, offer unparalleled comfort. More robust than wool, they nevertheless require delicacy to avoid creasing and preserve their luster.

COTTON & VISCOSE: Freshness and fluidity

Cotton, a breathable plant fiber, and viscose, made from wood pulp, offer unparalleled comfort. More durable than wool, they nevertheless require delicacy to avoid creasing and preserve their shine.

  • THE WASHING

Always consult the inner label. There are usually two options available:

    1. Hand wash in cold water.
    2. Machine wash: Delicate cycle, 30°C maximum, with a gentle spin (600 rpm).
  • THE DRYING

    • As with wool, opt for flat drying, away from direct sunlight.
    • Expert tip: Never twist your garment to wring it out after hand washing, as this breaks the fibers. Gently press it in a towel.
  • TASK PROCESSING

    • If your item gets stained, you should clean it immediately, otherwise the stain may set into the fibers.
    • We recommend using a stain remover specifically for cotton and viscose and suitable for the type of stain. It should only be applied to the stain, and after a few minutes, you can proceed with a normal wash according to the care instructions.
Warning: do not pour hot water on a greasy stain.
  • THE IRONING

    • Iron on reverse at moderate temperature (110°C max).
    • Avoid ironing directly on seams to prevent material from becoming shiny.
  • THE STORAGE

Here are some tips to ensure the longevity of your garment:

    • Store cotton knitwear in a dry, airy place, away from sunlight or heat sources.
    • Do not hang your garment on a hanger, as this could distort and stretch the material.
    • To repel pests: use traps or mothballs.
