Our small Auguste basket in raffia and navy blue is the perfect everyday companion. Spacious yet compact, it holds your essentials while remaining lightweight and easy to carry. Crafted from raffia fibers, they are carefully woven to create an elegant and breathable texture. The navy leather accents add a sophisticated touch to the basket. The combination of raffia and leather provides a unique visual contrast, accentuating its elegant yet casual style.

  • Removable fabric pouch inside
  • Mix of LWG Gold certified cowhide leather of European origin and palm leaves of Mediterranean origin
  • The LWG label guarantees leather production that respects people and the environment.
  • Basket dimensions: Height 24.5 cm; Width 44 cm, Depth 14.5 cm
  • Pouch dimensions: Length 35 x 10 cm (at the top); Height 18 cm
  • This material may naturally present color variations.
    For maintenance use a soft bristle brush. To remove
    a stain, rub gently with a cloth slightly dampened with water.
    Then wipe with a dry cloth.

Know-how:

Baskets are handmade by a women's cooperative specializing in basketry in Morocco. Doum For Women is dedicated to the integration of rural Moroccan women in villages near Marrakech.

All baskets are handwoven from natural fibers such as palm leaves, raffia, and rushes. The remarkable basketry skills of these women artisans are passed down from generation to generation.
