With the return of fine weather gradually marking the end of winter, and as the days get longer; we begin to think of the sun, the open air, the elsewhere. No more greyness of winter, put the big sweaters in the closet. Make way for color, fluid and light materials!
On the occasion, the Balzac Paris team is proud and happy to present its Mars pre-collection: “Mon coeur fait boum”. The appointment ? Revisited timeless wardrobe staples, romantic blouses and perfect dresses for mid-season and for exploring new horizons.
A desire for a getaway takes you and you are looking for your next sunny destination? Come on, we're tempting you, why not… a tour of Spain in a caravan! Without further ado, the Balzac Paris team shares with you the addresses not to be missed and its nuggets for an eco-responsible "road-trip" in Spain.
First stop: Barcelona.
Located in one of the most touristic cities in Spain,
the Twentytytù Hostel is the first high-tech hotel to be biosphere certified thanks to the efficiency of its energy management (presence detector and timer, recovery of waste water, windows with low solar absorption to limit the use of air conditioning, etc.).
Located near the beach, very close to the city center and Las Ramblas, it offers a pleasant and responsible environment to its customers, also offering many activities (guided tours, bike rides, cooking classes, and many still others).
Calle Pamplona, 114. 08018 Barcelona, Spain.
Second stop: Cadaqués.
Going up a little further north on the coast, five kilometers south of Cap de Creus is Cadaqués; a charming little fishing village with a Mediterranean flair.
His speciality ? Seafood paella, sea bream and sea urchins.
The Balzac Paris team recommends the seaside restaurant
Xiringuito de la Mei .
This small restaurant resembling a seaside guinguette is the perfect place to have lunch with your feet in the sand facing a breathtaking view, while tasting typical dishes from the region. What if "consuming local" was the new "eco-responsible"?
25 Av. Victor Rahola, 17488 Cadaqués, Spain.
Third stop: Madrid.
Direction the center of Spain, and heading for the Spanish capital.
The team recommends
Esta Es Una Plaza! ; essential urban vegetable garden in a solidarity garden located in the heart of the central district of Lavapies. In this rejuvenating little haven of peace in the heart of the capital, everyone can come and plant organic fruits and vegetables in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Calle del Doctor Fourquet 24, 28012 Madrid, Spain.
Fourth stop: Guadarrama Natural Park.
After the city, let's go back to nature. We take you to
Santiuste de Pedraza , to an educational farm located in the Natural Park of Guadarrama, in the center of Spain in the scrubland.
In the program ? Organic gardening, nature discovery, excursions, horse riding and rest in an idyllic and exotic setting; the perfect place to relax alone or with family.
National Park of the Sierra de Guadarrama, Castile and León.
Fifth and last stop: Cabo de Gata Natural Park.
Last stage of the “road-trip”: the south! The team recommends a wellness hike in Andalusia, in the
Cabo de Gata natural park, classified as a "biosphere reserve" by UNESCO. Accompanied by a guide who knows the region like the back of his hand, between sea and mountains, you will walk through magnificent Mediterranean landscapes. A little extra: opt for horseback riding to take full advantage of the landscape.
Cabo de Gata - Níjar Natural Park, Almería, 04118, Spain.
Our Spring/Summer collection will mark a new turning point in our ever more responsible TPR approach.
We look forward to telling you more!
