The choice of our wools

At Balzac Paris, respect for animal welfare is at the heart of our concerns. Today, 100% of the sheep wool we use is guaranteed "mulesing-free" by our suppliers, guaranteeing the exclusion of certain breeding practices detrimental to the health and comfort of the animals.

As part of our ever-increasing commitment, we prioritize French sheep wool from the Tricolor collective, of which we are proud to be a founding member. We also aim to actively contribute to the promotion and preservation of French heritage in the wool industry. To this end, we are fully committed to supporting the Tricolor collective, which works to promote local and responsible production.

Pioneers in the use of 100% French wool, we have developed collaborations ranging from sheep breeding to the processing of their wool, thus affirming our commitment to more respectful and local fashion.
